One chair, one barber, one standard
Michael Zatorski opened Border Cutz in Brownsville because the choice here was a twenty-minute buzz at a chain or a forty-five minute wait for someone who might get the fade right.
He kept it simple instead. One chair he works himself, a board with five things on it and prices that do not move, and a straight razor at the end of every cut.
If you have spent years describing the same fade to a new barber every few months, that is exactly who the shop is for.
Walk in sharp, walk out sharper.
What to expect

You describe it, we cut it
Bring a photo or bring words. Either works. We will tell you straight if the length you want will not sit the way you are picturing it.

Flat prices, posted
What is on the board is what you pay. No surprise line-up charge, no product you did not ask for at the till.

The razor finish is included
Every cut ends with a straight-razor line at the neck and temples. It is not an upsell, it is how the cut is finished.

Walk in or call ahead
Tuesday to Friday you can take your chances. Saturdays fill by mid-morning, so call the shop.

Sit down
Two minutes at the mirror. Length on top, guard on the sides, how you want the line to sit.

The cut
Clippers, then scissors, then the detail work. Beard shaped in the same pass if you booked it.

The finish
Hot towel, straight razor at the neck and temples, and a look in the back mirror before you stand up.
